Mothers' Day Pin Crochet Pattern

This lovely daffodil is a gift that I made my mom for Mothers' Day, and you can make it too! It's quick and easy (if you've already had some experience with crochet) and it's absolutely perfect for spring!


Pin back

Yellow, golden, white or orange yarn

Green yarn

Needle suitable for yarn

Sewing thread

Any size hook (within reason)

To make

Center (center of daffodil is worked in rounds, don't turn)

Sc 6 into ring

Sc in each

Sc 3 into 1 sc, sl st in next sc around

Petals (Worked in rows, use 1 turning ch each row

Ch st 3

Sc 2

Sc in each sc

Incr. by 1

Sc in each sc

Dec. by 1

Sc in each


Ch st desired length

Sl st in each ch

To assemble

After weaving in all the ends, use a needle and thread to stack the petals below the daffodil's center. Add the leaves in a similar way, then sew the pin back to the back of your project.

Now it's ready to present to your favorite Mother!
