The Calendar

I often stand in front of the calendar and wonder what tomorrow will bring. I get the feeling something big will happen in the near future, but the numbered squares are empty. The unknown and the unplanned worry me, but I want desperately to break free of the metronome that is everyday life.

There I go, staring at that calendar again. Something's got to change, but when will I learn that the calendar won't tell me anything? It's only a printed sheet.

Tomorrow's a B-day, I have Young Women's this Wednesday,  and Mother's Day is in less than a week, but I still don't know what I set out to figure. Anything can happen, but I won't find it written here.

For the sake of my sanity, I hope that something changes soon.
